Home For the Holidays

I flew in from Austin yesterday evening. Carrie picked me up from BWI (she can drive there and back blindfolded by now) and we had dinner at my Dad’s. He and Roseanne (step-mom) will be flying to Miami for Christmas, Carrie will be driving up to the ‘Cuse, Taurus will be heading down to Charlotte and Gomaa will be in India with Neela visiting her relatives. So, it’s pretty much just me and my Mom for Christmas this year.
I’ll be home for the next three weeks, and really looking forward to catching up with people, catching up with kickball, and catching up on some R&R. My first semester at business school really kicked my ass, so I’m sorry if it seems like I fell off the face of the earth. Things should move down a notch, so hopefully I can do a better job of sharing my experiences living in Austin and being a 30 year-old graduate student. For now, time to slap together some Christmas shopping!
