I must admit that techonolgy has come a long way in the last few decades. However, my email filter still does not recognize your emails as a waste of my time. I do not know you, so please stop emailing me. I get more Spam from you than from all other sources combined. My team captain, a very responsible person, will update me.

This was in response to a league-wide email I sent out seeking help for DCKickball’s non-profit paperwork. Pretty much ruined my day. Joy.

It’s Greg’s Birthday! Recognize!

A message from my roommate (and our sponsor):

Folks, despite my best efforts to delay the inevitable, it appears that my 27th birthday is upon us and I want to invite you to help me celebrate.



Now, most of y’all know (though not all) that I happen to share the celebration with our dear friends below the border who pay an annual homage to “Cinco De Mayo.” And while I certainly played no role in the Mexican victory over the French on May 5th, 1862, when 4000 Mexican soldiers smashed the French and traitor Mexican army of 8,000 soldiers during the battle at Puebla, I feel like celebrating anyway.



So please join me in raising a glass or two to the fallen Mexican heroes south of the border, and to my birthday if you so choose, on FRIDAY NIGHT. Why on Friday night? Because I said so, and Friday night is better than Thursday night for a party. Here are the details:



WHERE: Ozio Restaurant and Lounge, 1823 M Street, NW
WHEN: Friday night 5/6/2005, 9:00 (come before 11:00 and avoid paying a cover) until close



Please excuse the late nature of the invite, but I hope y’all can come out for some or all of the evening’s festivities.
